View the Reports page in iHeart Business Social to gain insights into the performance of your overall social media presence. This report allows you to make data-based decisions on how you plan your social media marketing and budget.
To view your Social Insights Report, navigate to the Social app using the Global App Bar dropdown, then click on Reports at the top of the Social dashboard.
Description of Data
The report displays key metrics from social media accounts that are connected and enabled via the Social Accounts page found at Social Settings Social Accounts.
The graph and table will display the following metrics:
Impressions | The number of times your content is displayed, no matter if it was clicked or not. |
Engagements | The number of metrics like comments, likes, and shares. Engagement is platform-specific |
Clicks | The amount of times that users saw the content and clicked it. |
Filtering Options
To focus on a specific time period, filter the data displayed by a date range.
You can also filter by a specific social media platform.
Once you’ve filtered the data, you can select a metric to view by clicking Impressions, Engagements, or Clicks above the top graph.
Diving Deeper Into The Graph
Hover over any date on the top graph and view details pertaining to that day.
Important Reminders
This page will report aggregate data from each platform, not individual social media accounts. For example, if two Facebook accounts are connected to an account, the data displayed is an aggregate of both. There are plans for future improvements that will allow for displaying data for one specific account or one specific post.
Also keep in mind that connecting a social media account will not immediately start displaying data on the Reports page. Once an account is enabled, the Social app will begin fetching the data within 24 hours. To keep things running smoothly, this data collection generally happens overnight. When data is collected, 30 days of prior data is included, meaning you can expect roughly 30 days of historical data to display for an enabled account.
Instagram Engagement
Engagements are not available as an aggregated data set for Instagram Profiles. Therefore, you will not see Instagram included in the graph when you click on the Engagement metric. Also, the Instagram column in the table will appear blank with a tool tip explaining this platform limitation. Engagements are only available and supported on per singular post from Instagram.
Why Isn't My Data Showing Up!?
If a social media account has been disabled via Social Settings Social Accounts, the data is not gone, it’s just no longer being displayed on the Reports page. To start showing data again, simply re-enable the account, wait a day, then take another look.
